This program is extremely broken. I still haven't received my NTK 1.0.1 from AAPDA and can't compile it myself. Needless to say this has been a serious detriment to my enthusiasm as I saw dozens of them in boxes at Newtcon 94 in Wollongong recently.
This program should let you control most sony products.
The VCR stuff hasn't worked for me yet.
The CD player, Tape Deck, Television, Amplifier and I think Tuner definitely work, but not neccesarily completely, or for that matter very well.
If you let the Newton go to sleep while you are using the remote control, you will have to quit the program and run it again.
There was a bug report that it had to be stored on the internal memory on a 110 to get it to work.
Tom Collins/Innovative Computer Solutions <ics@indirect.com> was kind enough to recompile my source using the release version which is why I can make it available.
The source code is available from my macintosh. Mail me if you would like it. You are welcome to do further work on it and I would be very happy to see it become a useful product with some sort of plug in architecture for different devices using Auto Parts (not that I can read the documentation on them. See above).
